Melissa McCarthy

Melissa Ann McCarthy is an American actress , comedian, writer, fashion designer and producer who was born on 26th August, 1970 at Plainfield Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Her parents are Sandra and Michael McCarthy, a farmer. She started her career as stand up comedian in New York but on televisions she came into lime light in late 90's. She got critical recognition in Gilmore Girls from 2000 to 2007. From 2009 she appeared on ABC sitcom Samantha Who? She acted in sitcom Mike & Molly. She has got maximum success from movie Bridesmaids in 2011. She also acted in Identity thief and The Heat.

McCarthy was raised on a farm in a large Catholic family. Her father is of  Irish descent with roots in County Longford and County Armagh, while her mother is of English, German and Irish ancestry. Some of her ancestors are from Country Cork. She has graduated from Joliet Catholic academy. She is a dedicated Christian. Her family beliefs and Christianity has shown her always a way in the darkest period of her life.

Mellissa married to her long time boy friend Ben Falcone in 2005. She gave birth to her 1st child at age 36, a daughter Vivian Falcone on May 5, 2007. She gave birth to her 2nd child at age 39, a daughter Georgette Falcone on March 22, 2010.  McCarthy's pregnancy with Vivian was written into the last season of Gilmore Girls. Their daughter Vivian played the younger version of her mother's character in the 2016 movie The Boss.

She was grown up at farms and loves playing Tennis. She is a jolly kind of woman. She is the charm of the party. In her spare time she watch movies. Her favorite movies are Planes, Trains & Automobiles released in 1987. She is a great supporter of women's development. She has quoted "I grew up with funny and interesting women, and my friends are funny, interesting women. So I can't think of any story where those women don't come into play. It's the same as how I can't imagine writing a story with no men. It's just not real."
