Katie Holmes

Katie Noelle Holmes was born on the 18th of December 1978. She is an American actress famous for her work in films like Disturbing Behaviour 1998, Go 1999, Wonder Boys 2000, Abandon 2002, Phone Booth 2003, First Daughter 2004, Batman Begins 2005, Mad Money 2008, The Extra Man 2010, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark 2011, Days and Nights 2013, Miss Meadows 2014, Underdogs 2015 and All We Had 2016. She is currently filming for her next film Coup d'Etat and Logan Lucky 2017. She was also seen in television series like Dawson's Creek, Saturday Night Live, The Kennedys and The Kennedys: After Camelot.

Katie was raised as a catholic and graduated from an all girls Catholic school in her hometown. She hasn't spoken much about her religion much but she married into the controversial Church of Scientology. She married the enthusiastic spokesperson of Scientology, Tom Cruise and expressed that she is happy to share the same beliefs. Although after their divorce she returned to the Catholic Church and enrolled her daughter in a Catholic school too.

Since Katie was a believer of Scientology, the ones who believe that being Gay is an illness and make plans on curing it, she didn't really speak too much about politics. Now that she is a Catholic again maybe she can give her options on the politics of the country.

Katie was dating her Dawson Creek's co-star Joshua Jackson for a while before she started dating actor Chris Klein and was engaged in 2003 but after 5 years of relationship they ended their relationship. Katie was dating Tom Cruise and they were engaged in June 2005, only seven weeks after meeting. They had a daughter named Suri on 18th of April 2008 on the one year anniversary of their first date. They were married by November 18th 2006 and filed for divorce after 5 years of marriage and Katie has the custody of their daughter Suri.

Katie loves shopping and running in her free time. She also enjoys listening to music, reading books, arts and crafts.

She reportedly turned down the lead role in "40 Days and 40 Nights" in 2002.
