Elizabeth Banks

Elizabeth Irene Banks was born on the 10th of February 1974. She is an American actress, director and producer well known for her work in films like Wet Hot American Summer 2001, Spider Man 2002, Seabiscuit 2003, Spider Man 2 2004, The 40-Year Old Virgin 2005, Invincible 2006, Spider Man 3 2007, Definitely, Maybe 2008, The Uninvited 2009, The Next Three Days 2010, The Details 2011, The Hunger Games 2012, What to Expect When You're Expecting 2012, Pitch Perfect 2012, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire 2013, Pitch Perfect 2 2015 and Power Rangers 2017. She is currently shooting for her next film Pitch Perfect 3 2017.

Banks was raised in a catholic family but converted to Judaism as soon as she got married to her husband who is a jew. Her mother did not object as the actress was already practicing Judaism for her to be husband. She mentioned that n religion meant to her so much as Judaism meant to my husband so she converted.

Banks is a Democrat. She was a passionate supporter of Barack Obama in 2012 elections. She makes women's health issues as a number one priority and made a video in support of it. She also openly discussed sex as being a natural thing and that Abstinence is not the answer. Its safe to say that the actress does not shy away from giving her opinions on political issues.

Banks met her husband Max Handelman, a sportswriter and producer on the first day of college. They dated for six years before getting married in 2003. They had their first child Felix, born through a surrogate in March 2011 and they had their second child Magnus Mitchell also born through a surrogate in November 2012.

Banks enjoys fantasy football as a hobby. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She likes watching theatre too.
