Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Joanna Aniston, the American actress, producer, and businesswoman, was born on 11th February 1969, at Los Angeles, U.S. She is the daughter of actors John Aniston and Nancy Dow. 

Her first regular television show was Molloy in 1990, followed by other shows called Ferris Bueller, Quantum Leap, and Burke’s Law, where all of them were unsuccessful. She got to do her breakout role as Rachel Green in the NBC sitcom Friends. The show broadcasted from 1994 to 2004. The role earned her Primetime Emmy Award and two Golden Globe Awards, and has made her the highest paid television actress of all time, along with her female co-stars in the sitcom. 

She appeared in films including Bruce Almighty, The Break-Up, Office Space, and The Morning Show. She is the co-founder of the production company called Echo films, which was established in 2008.

Aniston has Italian, English, Irish, Scottish, and a small amount of Greek ancestry. When talking about religion, she was raised as a Christian, but her statements indicates that she does not believe in any particular religion. 

Once in an interview, when asked about her religion, she replied, ‘I don’t have a religion. I believe in a God. I don’t know what it looks like but it’s MY God. My own interpretation of the super natural.’ Therefore, it is safe to assume that Aniston has neither particular religion to believe, nor she is an atheist.

Aniston has done a lot of philanthropic works. She hosted the program Stand Up to Cancer in 2008, and has appeared in the television commercials of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. She as directed and starred in a video, which supports the movement It Can’t Wait, which is aimed to free Burma. She is an open supporter of the LGBQ community. 

Other charity works that she has taken part includes Clothes Off Our Back, Feeding America, Project A.L.S., and Abuse and Incest National Network. When talking about politics, she is a Democrat, and has given donations to the presidential election of Barack Obama.

Who is she dating?

Aniston was in a relationship with actor Tate Donovan from 1995 to 1998. Later in 1998 itself, she met Brad Pitt. The relationship between Aniston and Pitt received a lot of media coverage. She married Pitt in July 2000. The couple ended their married life, which the media had described as the rare Hollywood success, in 2005. There were speculations that Pitt cheated Aniston with his Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie. 

She had a short relationship with John Mayer, the singer and musician for a period of 2008 to 2009. Later in 2011, she met Justin Theroux, and got married on 2015. The couple got separated in 2017.
