He is the son of Mark Fiennes, a farmer and photographer, and Jennifer Lash, a writer. The family of Fiennes includes famous people like actor Ralph Fiennes, directors Martha Fiennes and Sophie Fiennes, composer Magnus Fiennes, who are his siblings.
