Carrie Coon

Carrie Alexandra Coon, the American actress was born on 24th January 1981, at Ohio, U.S. She is the daughter of Paula and John Coon. She started her career by acting in Theatre productions including Milwaukee of American Players Theatre, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? by Steppenwolf Theatre Company. 

Coon made her screen debut through the NBC series The Playboy Club in 2011. She won the Tony Award nomination for her performance in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and followed by that, she was selected as one of the main characters in the HBO series The Leftovers in 2014. She acted in her first movie Gone Girl in the same year. 

She did notable performance as Gloria Burgle in the FX anthology series Fargo (2017), which earned her Primetime Emmy Award nomination. She also appeared in flms like The Post (2017), Windows (2018), and in Avengers: Infinity War (2018).

She is Catholic by religion, but had stated in an interview some time ago that she is no more following Catholic religion. Letts has received the Pulitzer Price of year 2008 for his play August: Osage County, and has also received Tony Award for his performance as George in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
