Wentworth Miller

Wentworth Earl Miller III, the English-American actor and screenwriter, was born on 2nd June 1972 in Oxfordshire, England. He is the son of Roxann, a special education teacher and Wentworth E. Miller II, a lawyer; both of them are Americans.

Miller’s debut TV appearance was in the series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1998). Later, he did some more roles in TV series and shifted to movies, where the first role was the childhood of Anthony Hopkins in The Human Stain (2003).

In the year 2005, he did the most notable role in his career in Fox Network’s television drama Prison Break, as Michael Scofield, for which he received the 2005 Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – TV Series Drama. His screenwriting debut was with the movie Stoker (2015), which received positive reviews from critics.

Wentworth Miller Religion

Miller’s father is of African-American, Jamaican, German, and English ancestry, and his mother is of Russian, Swedish, French, Dutch, Syrian, and Lebanese ancestry. He has no Jewish ancestry, but is recognised as Jewish. Recently, Miller visited Israel, and when asked about it, all he said was that the visit was on the basis of Israel’s 60th anniversary.

Anyways, it is not known if Wentworth Miller believes in any religion or he practises any customs of his religion. It is safe to assume that he is not religious, and the only thing about which he shows faith is his profession.

Wentworth Miller Political Views

In 2013, Miller stated that he is declining invitation to the Saint Petersburg International Film Festival in Russia as the Russian government is anti-LGBT and he can be in a country where people like himself cannot live.

He opened up about his mental struggles during childhood and that he thought about suicide several times. The way in which Miller faced his problems made Active Minds, a mental health charity to announce that he would be an ambassador for the organisation.

Who is he dating?

Miller is a gay, and he admitted it publicly in August 2013, by denying an invitation to attend the Saint Petersburg Film Festival in Russia, due to the government’s anti LGBT law.

Wentworth Miller has stated earlier that he went through a lot of struggles regarding his sexuality, and have denied the news that he is gay, which happened one or two years before his statements in 2013. Therefore, his relationships were quite secretive.

Miller is presently in a relationship with the Canadian actor Luke Mcfarlane; it is rumoured that they were dating since 2007. Mcfarlane disclosed his sexuality in 2008, way before Miller.

It is said that Miller was dating actor Kristoffer Cusick and Hollywood photographer Mark Liddell.

Wentworth Miller Hobbies

It seems like English-American actor does not likes discussing his personal life out in public. Maybe the case of his likes and dislikes in life has also the same policy.

Being a screen writer, it can be assumed that Miller likes reading, and writing too. Also, he was a member of an acapella team in his neighbourhood during his childhood days. Therefore, music is also his field of interest.
