Robert Herjavec has been twice in his life. His first marriage was with Diane Plese. Diane Plese is an optometrist who ended up being Robert’s doctor. The former couple actually met long before Robert was a millionaire. He went in for an eye appointment and, according to National Post, it was “love at first sight.”They got married in 1990.
Unfortunately, the marriage started to crumble and they got separated in July 2014 and were divorced in early 2016. There had been a lot of rumors surrounding the reason for Diane Plese divorce from Robert Herjavec. Before they divorced, there were stories saying Robert was cheating on her with Kym Johnson, his current wife, co-star and dance partner on “Dancing with the Stars.” Diane allegedly decided to get divorced when she found out about the affair between her husband and Kym. But Diane shut down those rumors quick. Diane said in an interview, “Robert is a caring husband and a responsible person towards his family, but I cannot live with him anymore and the reasons behind our separation will not be disclosed among the public.” At the time, Robert also denied the rumors of him cheating on Diane and said, “The entire cast and crew of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ is evolving into an extended family and is incredibly supportive,” he told PEOPLE. “Kym has become a great friend, and it is so much fun to be able to share this experience with her.” Robert and Diane had three children during their marriage, two daughters, Caprice and Skye, and a son named Brendan.
In September 2015, when Robert was not even got divorced with Diane, confirmed his relationship with his former Dancing with the Stars partner Kym Johnson. On February 27, 2016, the two became engaged. On July 31, 2016 they were married in Los Angeles, California. The couple later revealed they were expecting twins. The twins, a boy and a girl, were born on April 23, 2018 at 7:44am and 7:45am, named Hudson Robert Herjavec and Haven Mae Herjavec.
