Lily Rabe



Lily Rabe is an American actress (born June 29,1982) from New York City. She is the daughter of playwright, David Rabe and actress, Jill Clayburgh, who she made her debut appearance against in the film Never Again. Rabe has been nominated for the Tony Award for her performance as Portia in the play The Merchant of Venice. She is also well known for her roles in American Horror Story and her lead role as Claire Bennigan in ABC science fiction series The Whispers.

Lily Rabe studied dance for 10 years and used to teach ballet at a summer arts program in Connecticut. It was through this program that she got a chance to perform a monologue for the play Crimes of the Heart and later decided to pursue a degree in acting from Northwestern University
