She was born to actress Lesley Vogel and fire department captain Skip Panettiere. she is a mix of some Italian some German and a little bit of English ancestry. she also has a brother who is an actor Jansen Panettiere . she attended school in South Orangetown Middle school in New York, later she was homeschooled from ninth grade to completion of high school.She started her acting career at a very early age of eleven months when her mother put her up in commercials, then at the age of four and a half she started doing soap opera one life to live till 1997. she is best known as Claire from the famous tv series Heroes. she has done various other movies like Joe somebody and Remember the Titans and many more. she is also known to have performed in various animated movies like A Bugs life, dinosaurs etc.
