Giovanni Ribisi

Born as Antonino Giovanni Ribisi on December 17,1974, Giovanni is an American actor from Los Angeles, California. He is famous for his role in Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan and his role as Phoebe's half brother in the popular TV show Friends. He started his career with the series Highway to Heaven with the help of his mother, who is a talent manager for actors and writers. He is of English, German and Italian descent.

Giovanni is a Scientologist along with his twin sister, Marissa. He has actively participated in the community and was also part of opening a Scientology museum in 2005. It appears he still holds these beliefs though he recently stated that acting is his new religion.

Giovanni Ribisi, in more ways than one, appears to be a supporter of liberalism with a tendency to lean agains big establishments like giant banking and pharmaceutical organisations. Though he does not explicitly say so, there have been instances where he has mocked the government for their ties with the big players instead of focusing on empowering the common people.

Rabisi married fellow actressm, Mariah O'Brien in 1997 and they have a daughter Lucia. They were divorced in 2001. Rabisi then met the indie rock singer/songwriter, Cat Power, whom he lived with for five years before ending the relationship in 2012. Rabisi got married to Agyness Deyn, an English model, in 2012 but filed for divorce in 2015.

Ribisi is an active Scientologist member along with his twin sister Marissa. He has also directed a music video for Siberian Nights by The Kills. Ribisi also enjoys working for the computer graphics design company, Stereo D where he does 3D post-conversion of movies like Titanic.

Ribisi has studied computer graphics in school and has worked for the company Stereo D which works on post-conversion 3D on films.

He studied acting at The Beverly Hills Playhouse with Milton Katselas.
