Ellen Grace Philpotts Page is a Canadian actress who was born on 21st February, 1987 at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Her mother Martha Philpotts is a teacher and her father Dennis Page is a graphics designer. She attended Halifax Grammar school till 10th grade. She is well known for her role in Pit Pony, Trailer Park Boys, Regenesis. She get critical recognition with her role in comedy drama Juno in 2007 for which she received MTV movie Award, Independent Spirit award, Teen Choice Award for best actress comedy. She has also acted in X-men series and American Crime, Inception and Super.

She is an atheist.She has quoted "Religion has always been used for beautiful things, and also as a way to justify discrimination—whether it’s gender, or race, or the LGBT community, or what have you. Personally, I’m an atheist, so I just have no time for it. So that will be the next challenge.".

Ellen is non political but she participates in government work to what she thinks right.In 2008, Page was one of 30 celebrities who participated in an online ad series for US Campaign for Burma, calling for an end to the military dictatorship in Burma. She describes herself as a pro-choice feminist. She practices a vegan lifestyle, and PETA named her and Jared Leto the Sexiest Vegetarians of 2014.

At a Human Rights Campaign event in Las Vegas on Valentine's Day 2014, Ellen announced that she is gay. She had told her parents much earlier at age 19. Till now she hasn't married anyone but she has been through lots of dates and breakups in her past days. She does not have any children form her past affairs. These days she is totally single.
