Jennifer Grey and Clark Gregg Divorce

After 19 years of marriage life, “The Avengers” star Clark Gregg and “The Dirty Dancing” actress Jennifer Grey has decided to separate. It was in year 2001 that the couple got married in a ceremony on Martha’s Vineyard beach, after dating for almost a year. They have a daughter, 18 year old Stella Gregg, who has acted in the film Trust Me in year 2014, along with father Gregg.

It was through a joint post in Gregg’s and Grey’s Instagram account that the couple announced about their divorce. Clark Gregg, who is known for his role as Agent Phill Coulson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, Thor, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, The Avengers, and Captain Marvel, wrote on Instagram that they has separated in January 2020, and now, in September 2020, are filing for dovorce petition, with the knowledge that they will remain a family, as always. The same post was shared by Grey in her Instagram account too.

The couple, who had a married life different from the usual one of most of the celebrities in which divorce comes after one month of marriage, admits that they are sharing the news of their divorce with crying. They had a celebrity studded marriage a few months before that birth of Stella Gregg.

Jennifer Grey is known for her role as “Baby” in the 1987 film Dirty Dancing, has posted an update on Instagram in Father’s Day. She paid tribute to Gregg by sharing Gregg’s and their daughter. She also expressed her gratitude by writing a heart touching note for her husband. She said that she loves Gregg very much, and is grateful for having him as “a devoted, loving dad and partner”. She posted the note along with a picture of Gregg and their daughter Stella Gregg, in which both of them seemed to be really happy.

Jennifer Grey and Clark Gregg has acted together in Lifetime’s 2006 film “The Road to Christmas”. Grey, who has played the role of Jeanie Bueller in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”, is presently getting ready to reprise her role in the film “Dirty Dancing”. She is the daughter of Broadway actor Joel Grey of Cabaret and Wicked Fame.

The couple has decided to look after their daughter jointly, as their divorce is amicable. They have assured that custody and child support are not going to be an issue in their daughter’s case, even after her parent’s divorce. Their love towards Stella is evident through the posts they share on social media sites, including Twitter, Instagram,, and Facebook. They has tried to celebrate each and every moment of her life, which includes the graduation ceremony they conducted for her.

The real reason behind the decision for the separation of the celebrity couple is unknown, and the decision has left their fans in a difficult situation. However, the former couple has made it clear that they will remain family and good friends, and will remain as a helping hand, whenever one has the need of another.
