Kirsten Dunst

Kirsten Caroline Dunst, the American actress was born on 30th April 1982, at New Jersey, U.S. Her father was a medical services executive at the Siemens, and mother was a flight attendant at Lufthansa. She started acting when she was 3 years old and found her rising fame a difficult one in her teenage years. 

She made her feature film debut with Woody Allen’s short film Oedipus Wrecks, a part of the anthology film New York Stories in 1989. Her breakthrough role was in the 1994 film Interview with the Vampire, opposite Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, which earned her the MTV Movie Award and Golden Globe Award nomination. 

She appeared in film including The Virgin Suicides, Spider-Man movie franchise, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Melancholia, and The Beguiled. She earned various awards including three Golden Globe nominations, Screen Actors Guild Award, and Cannes Film Festival Award. 

Kirsten Dunst Religion

Dunst has German and Swedish ancestry. Dunst is a Lutheran by religion, but it does not seem like she is a follower of her religion. However, there are references which state that she could possibly be a follower of Buddhism, as she practises yoga and meditation. 

It seems like she is not that much into religion, and does not likes to discuss about religious matters. She once stated in an interview that she is considering getting a tattoo of angel wings on her back, as it makes her feel safe.

Dunst is a Democrat, and has given donations to the party many times including election campaigns. She raised her voice in support of John Kerry in 2004 and for Barack Obama in 2004. During the election campaign of John Kerry, she expressed her opinion about the nation that it is kind of mess right now, and getting Bush out of his office will correct that. Dunst has commented that Obama is the kind of president that America wants right now, during his presidential election campaign.

She has worked for the Elizabeth Glaser Paediatric AIDS Foundation, in which she designed and promoted a necklace for their funding. She also supports the breast cancer awareness program, and has participated in the Stand Up to Cancer telethon is 2008. 

Who is he dating?

Dunst was in a relationship with actor Jake Gyllenhaal from 2002 to 2004, and later with Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell during the year 2007. In the year 2012, she started dating Garrett Hedlund, her co-star in On the Road. The couple were briefly engaged, but broke up in 2016.

She dated her co-star in Fargo Jesse Plemons in 2016, and got engaged in 2017. The couple have a son, Ennis Howard Plemons, born on May 2018.
