Tom selleck has had a long amazing career and have gained a massive popularity through his career since he first started his acting career playing small role as a college senior on a dating show in 1965. The Actor has been married twice.
Tom’s first wife was Jacqueline ray. They began dating in 1970. After sharing romance with each other for a year, they exchanged their vows on 15 May 1971 and soon became one of the most popular couples in Hollywood. It was reported that Ray entered the marriage with him during the time when he was struggling to find an acting job. Unfortunately, many fans got disappointed when Jacqueline filed for divorce. Despite sharing a romantic married life for eleven years, they ended their relationship without disclosing the precise reason. However according to rumours the reason was that Ray wasn’t able to handle the attention her husband was getting from female fans after he began portraying Thomas Magnum in “Magnum P.I.”, in which she worked as well.
Jacqueline had a son from a previous marriage who was later adopted by Tom. His name was Kevin Selleck and Tom raised him with care as his beloved son despite having gone through a divorce with Jacqueline.
Tom was later married to Jillie Mack. The couple met when she was a dancer who played Rumpleteazer. A dinner date turned into romance and once Mack's contract was up, she moved to Hawaii where Selleck was filming Magnum, P.I. in 1987, they shocked fans and entertainment reporters alike by getting hitched in secret. They welcomed their first and only child together, daughter Hannah, the following year. Most people would never dream of giving up their dream job, but that’s exactly what Tom Selleck did once his wife Jillie Joan Mack gave birth to their baby girl “I quit Magnum to have a family,” he said. “It took a long time to get off the train, but I try very hard to have balance.” Tom decided to make a conscious decision to focus on his family, rather than try to juggle work and family. Rather than settle the family in Beverly Hills or the heart of the action in Hollywood, Tom bought a massive 65 acre ranch far away from the glittering lights of Tinseltown in Ventura County, California.
The couple are still going strong after more than 30 years of marriage.
