Giada is the popular and charming host of the Food Network's "Everyday Italian," "Weekend Getaways," and "Giada at Home.” She is passionate about cooking and have countless achievements under her belt.

The celebrity chef was married to Todd Thompson. Todd Thompson is an American clothing designer and reality TV star. The couple got married on may 25th, 2003. The couple also had a daughter, Jade Marie De Laurentiis Thompson born on March 29, 2008.

Unfortunately, in December 2014 the couple got divorced, which was announced by Giada herself on her social media. "After an amicable separation since July, Todd and I have decided to end our marriage," De Laurentiis wrote on Facebook. "Although our decision to separate comes with a great deal of sadness, our focus on the future and overwhelming desire for our family's happiness has given us the strength to move forward on separate, yet always connected paths.” "Todd and I share a beautiful daughter together," the Giada at Home host continued, "and a lifetime of great memories that we both treasure more than anything. We are so thankful for our friends and family, and really appreciate the support in this time of change.”

According to the reports Todd Thompsonn filed for the divorce, less than 24 hours after she revealed that they had been separated for months. To be precise, their date of separation was July 15 after 11 years and two months of marriage. Thompson, who was quiet throughout the split, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their divorce.

The ex-couple never signed a prenuptial agreement when they got married, due to which De Laurentiis was ordered to give Thompson half of the unpaid advances to multiple cookbooks that she currently has in the pipeline which includes—Weeknights with Giada for $2.5 million, Giada's Feel Good Food for $2.3 million, and Everyday Pasta for $757,000. The estimated net worth of Giada is $20 million while Todd is said to be worth $15 million—and the former couple is said to be share their various bank accounts that totals approximately of $2 million dollars.

The two will share a joint custody of their daughter.
