Nicholas Caradoc Hoult is an English actor who was born 7th December, 1989 at Wokingham, Berkshire, England, UK. His parents are Glenis, a piano teacher and Roger Hoult, a British airways pilot. In 1996 at the age of 7 he started his acting career with movie Intimate Relations. But he gained crical recognition with his break through role in About a Boy in 2002. Further he got critical recognition in E4 dram Skins. Now a days everyone knows him for his role as Beast in X-men series. He got appraisal from his zombie role in movie Warm Bodies. Now a days he is working on a project as Nicolas Tesla in The Current war that is to be released in December 2017.

Nicholas was choir boy. He was in much influence of church till he was in England. In 2010 he visited slums in Nairobi, Kenya to see a Christian Aid project providing clean water and sanitation to thousands of people. During his stay he met the residents and helped to clean out sewage works. About the eye opening trip he said: "I met great people making the best of the situation. They are very open, kind and loving but it is heart-breaking in many ways to see the living conditions."

Nicholas seems to be non-political. He is involved in a lot of charity work. He was included in NSPCC hall of fame for his contribution towards helping fight child cruelty. Since 2009 he is also helping Teenage Cancer trust. In 2017 he was involved in an event of raising fund for teenage cancer trust. In this event he took part a rickshaw run on the streets of India.

While filming X-Men series Nicholas dated co star and diva Jenifer Lawrence. Lawrence said "I was also in a relationship with somebody for five years and that was my life. So my life was this person and these movies, and we broke up around the same time that I wrapped those movies." Both of them have faced struggled about their break up.

During his childhood, Hoult played basketball for his local team, Reading Rockets. Now a days he is the brand Ambassador for that club. He is a die hard fan of motor sports. He has attended Grand Prix all around the world in Monaco, Montreal, Singapore and Germany. In his free time he goes for outing with his friends and fond of Go Karting. He also loves motor ride with his friends group.

All of his three siblings have had some acting experience.
He had to attend an audition for'About a Boy (2002) wearing his school uniform but, unfortunately, he forgot his shoes. He told reporters that be borrowed his mother's white shoes and coloured them in, however, the colour came off!
