Caroline Munro is an American actress and model who was born on 16th January, 1949 at Windsor, Berkshire, England, UK. Her modeling career started when her mother and a photographer David Bailey entered her picture in Face of the Year competition for British newspaper The evening news and she won. She attended Catholic convent school. She started modeling at the age of 17 for the Vogue magazine. She moved to London to pursue her modelling career and became cover girl for fashion and TV advertisement. In 1971 she appeared with Vincent Price in The Abominable Dr. Phibes. In 1972 she acted in sequel of The Abominable Dr. Phibes. She has acted in many horror, science fiction and action movies. Her work on Kronos directly led to her being cast as the slave girl Margiana in The Golden Voyage of Sinbad, where her costumes were easily as impressive as Ray Harryhausen’s famous stop-motion special effects.
