Apart from being an actor she is also a kiteboarder and says that it is something that keeps her grounded. She started kiteboarding when she was just 13 and her dad taught her the sport as he was a professional kiteboarder himself. She had her own clothing line by the name of Airbound Apparel while she was kiteboarding in the Dominican Republic. Most of her proceeds went to local charities.
